Young Kwan Kim
Born in Seoul, Korea, where acupuncture is a common source for healthcare, Young's education in natural healing and medicine began very early in life. His interest to study acupuncture grew when he became aware acupuncture was not well known and widely accessible in the United States. At the age of fifteen, Young came to the Washington State. Young graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree and graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine with a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
After completing his studies in Oregon, Young returned to Washington in 2010 to open his first clinic, Essential Acupuncture, located in Seattle. With a strong interest in building healthy communities and his passion for promoting health, Young opened his second clinic in 2012, Arlington Acupuncture.
Young is nationally board-certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and a Washington State licensed practitioner in acupuncture and oriental medicine.
Young’s area of specialties is pain relief, digestive track disorder, women’s health, and preventive care. Young has treated numerous conditions and had successful outcomes from patients with plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, Bell’s palsy, headache/migraine, and back pain.
Young is known for his warmth and commitment to help his patients discover the opportunity that comes from health challenges. Outside of the clinic, Young enjoys camping, golfing, traveling, and interests in cars.
